South Africa vs Afghanan Live Score, T20 World Cup 2024 Semi Final Match Today: Afghanan skipper Rashid Khan won the toss and opted to bat first against Aiden Markram’s South Africa in the semifinal of the T20 World Cup 2024 at the Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba in TrinidadAfghanan on the other hand were the second best team from Group C, defeating New Zealand, Uganda and Papua New Guinea. In Super-8, Afghanan beat Australia for the first time across formats before qualifying for the semifinals following a win over Bangladesh. Neither South Africa nor Afghanan have made it to the T20 World Cup final before.
In the second semifinal, India will play England on Thursday, starting 8:00 PM at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. The game will be a repeat of the 2022 T20 World Cup semifinal that saw the eventual winners rout India 10 wickets.
