South Africa vs India 2nd T20I Weather Report: There are high chances that the second T20I between India and South Africa will might also be an another washout with rain forecast at St. George’s Park on Tuesday afternoon.
The first game at the Kingsmead was called off without even the toss taking place in Durban. Steady drizzle through the day meant that a capacity crowd was denied any action as the match was abandoned.
It is not looking promising for the second match as well.
The weather forecast for Gqeberha indicates cloudy conditions with a high chance of rain showers, around 70 per cent precipitation. The temperature at the venue is projected to be around 21 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels at approximately 75 per cent, and a wind speed of around 35 kmph.
Now only five games are left in the build up to the T20 World Cup in June and the management has a very small window to try out players.
In the current scenario, form in the IPL will carry a lot of weight for selection in the Indian team bound for USA and Caribbean.
The selectors announced a 17-man squad for the series and it is highly unlikely that all of them would get an opportunity in the remaining two games.
India Squad: Suryakumar Yadav (captain), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Tilak Varma, Rinku Singh, Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan (wk), Jitesh Sharma (wk), Ravindra Jadeja (VC), Washington Sundar, Ravi Bishnoi, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, Mohd. Siraj, Mukesh Kumar, Deepak Chahar.
