A woman travelling on a Southwest Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Chicago shocked fellow passengers when she allegedly stripped naked and defecated on her seat just as the plane was landing, New York Post reported.
Police were called to Chicago’s Midway Airport on Saturday after flight 418 arrived with the durbing incident having unfolded on board, according to NBC, cited the New York Post.
In a statement to the outlet, Southwest Airlines said, “Our teams are reaching out to those onboard to apologise for the situation and any delay to their travel plans.”

The airline added, “Nothing is more important to Southwest than the safety of our customers and employees, and we appreciate the professionalism of our flight crew.”
It remains unclear what happened to the passenger afterwards, New York Post reported.
Following the incident, the plane was taken out of service for thorough cleaning, according to the report.
