Speak to CM directly, Diggy asks his brother

Senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister Digvijay Singh has advised his MLA brother that instead of speaking in public, he should directly talk to the Chief Minister if he has something to say.

Notably, Congress MLA Laxman Singh had two days ago targeted Chief Minister Kamal Nath calling him a week CM.

Ironically, Laxman Singh junior apparently sidelined in Madhya Pradesh Congress had been targeting his own party with his public remarks.

While talking to media persons here on Thursday tried to pacify his younger brother saying Laxman Singh is a senior politician and he has a close bond with CM Kamal Nath.

“If he has something to say, he should directly speak to the CM instead of speaking in public,” he added.

Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Minister Lakhan Ghanghoria too advised Laxman Singh on Thursday stating that he was not seasoned enough to preach others. The minister claimed that preaching something to Kamal Nath was like showing the light to sun.

Recently, he had embarrassed his own elder brother Digvijay Singh while sitting on dharna at latter’s residence in Bhopal demanding that his constituency Chachoda be elevated into a district.

Prior to this, Singh had put his own government in the dock claiming that loan waiver promised to the farmers did not materialize in the state. He had even asked then party president Rahul Gandhi to apologize to the farmers.

Congress insiders claim that Laxman Singh is upset with the party over his exclusion from Kamal Nath cabinet whereas junior leaders like jaivardhan Singh, Digvijay’s son Shivraj Singh, Digvijay’s nephew where included in the government as cabinet ministers.
