Navy plane, with 4 on board, crashes in South Korea, local media reports | World News

An airplane, with four people on board, crashed in the southern city of Pohang in South Korea, Yonhap news agency reported on Thursday quoting fire authorities. A local government official confirmed that the crash involved a navy plane and four people were aboard in it.
A Reuters report quoting local media stated that the plane belonged to the South Korean navy and it was a navy patrol plane. The crash occurred at 1:52pm on Thursday, stated a local official from Pohang city government.
Eye witnesses reported smoke rising from the mountains where the plane had reportedly crashed, Yonhap reported. South Korean navy has confirmed in a statement that a P-3 patrol aircraft crashed in Pohang this afternoon with four people onboard.
