Actress and social media influencer Sreenanda Shankar has announced her divorce from husband Gev Sattarawala after 16 years of marriage. Sreenanda took to Instagram to share a note on the separation.
In the note, Sreenanda wrote, “Gev and I have officially separated. Many of you sensed this, but we needed time before sharing it publicly. Life sometimes unfolds in unexpected ways, and we have accepted this with understanding and peace. We are grateful for the love and support you have shown us, and this is a decision we are both at peace with. We understand there may be opinions, commentary, and articles written. Feel free to get these out of your system, but please do not expect any response from my mother or us; there will be none. Respect our privacy and refrain from reaching out to us about this matter.”

“My uplifting content will continue, and while some may miss our videos together, please remember that brief moments online never reflect the full reality of a marriage. Thank you for your continued love and support; I will need it now more than ever,” the statement further read.
Reacting to this news, actress Raveena Tandon dropped a heart emoji and wrote, “Always.” Digital creator Abhishek Ray commented, “More strength to you! You will always find me your side!” One of the users wrote, “The brief moments online never reflect the reality of life! So much power in this statement. Wish you both peace and love.” Another comment read, “We are always with you and in your decisions, respect and more power to you, we are always your side.”

After announcing her divorce, Sreenanda Shankar posted a series of photos from the airport. She wrote, “Detox London time.”
