IPL Auction 2025: After being a team that shattered batting records and redefined the batting style of the format last season, SunRisers Hyderabad continued their aggressive approach in the IPL 2025 auction as well. Out of their purse of Rs 45 crore, they spent 44.80 crore on procuring 15 players over the course of the two days of the Mega Auction in Jeddah.
Their highest bid across the two days was for wicket-keeper Ishan Kishan, who they fought for and prevailed at the Rs 11.25 crore mark. They also spent heaps of money on pacers Mohammad Shami and Harshal Patel, in order to firm up their bowling department stronger. Still a batting heavy side, with the help of the Impact Player rule, SRH could be a force to reckon with yet again if the players click the way they did last season.
