Stories about leadership change baseless, says Jyotiraditya Scindia

BHOPAL: Rajya Sabha MP, Jyotariditya Scindia, has said that the stories about change of leadership in the state are baseless. He made the statement at a press conference in Gwalior on Thursday. In the past 15 months, the Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led government has done well to handle the situation arising out of the corona pandemic, he said.

In the second wave of the pandemic, the Chief Minister and each member of his team did an outstanding work, Scindia said, adding that he would like to thank Chouhan for his good work.

Earlier, Union minister Narendra Singh Tomar, home Minister Narottam Mishra and national general secretary of BJP, Kailash Vijayvargiya, ruled out any possibility of change of leadership in the state.

After the uproar in UP politics, a lot of political gossips began in Madhya Pradesh, but the senior leaders have set at rest all those speculations.
