Students from Madhya Pradesh stranded in Ukraine seek help from Indian government
BHOPAL: Students from Madhya Pradesh stranded in Ukraine have sought help from the Indian government. Students shared a video with TOI seeking help from the Indian government.
Talking to TOI, the fifth-year student of MBBS Ankit Kanojiya said that the situation has gone worse for students like him. “Banks are closed, ATM are going dry and no one is there to help. We are very scared,” said Ankit. He belongs to the Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh.
Requesting the Indian government, Ankit added, “There is an urgent need for help from the Indian government. My family is in tension. The Internet is also not proper. God knows what will happen by the evening. There are bunkers and we are asked to be inside our houses.”
He claimed that several of his friends are stuck up at railway stations and airports. “They wanted to go back but stuck up in the middle,” said Ankit.
