Sudesh Lehri, who once sold vegetables for a living, shows off ‘ameeri’ in tour of Mumbai apartment with home theatre, modular kitchen, spectacular views | Bollywood News

Sudesh Lehri’s rags-to-riches story is the stuff of legend. The actor-comedian, who once used to work at tea stalls, factories, and made footwear for a living, now owns a luxury apartment in Mumbai. His property includes three bedrooms, one huge dining room, a modular kitchen, a private studio, home theatre, as well as a huge living room.
Sudesh Lehri recently gave a tour of his house to Pinkvilla, where he said that he and his family designed the home themselves. “We didn’t hire an interior designer, because they are expensive,” joked the actor. With a laugh, he said that he’d like to show off his ‘ameeri’ giving fans a glimpse of the spectacular views of the Mumbai skyline that he can enjoy from his house.
Sudesh Lehri began his house tour in his living room, which is decorated with handpicked furniture and wallpaper. He then showed his home theatre, and joked that he enjoys watching his own movies, especially Salman Khan-starrer Ready. His house is mostly done in shades of blue, white and gold.

Sudesh also has a studio inside his house, where he records his music. During the tour, he also revealed that he is an avid watch collector. “This is the only thing I collect,” he said.
Previously, while appearing on Archana Puran Singh’s vlog, Sudesh had recalled a time when he had to sell his house. Recalling his childhood, Sudesh said, “I have done a lot of hard work when I was young. I have seen poverty. I have worked in small shops, I used to make tea, I have worked in several factories, I used to make footwear. I sold vegetables. The rich don’t have to lie, but being poor we often have to lie when money lenders would ask for money. All this worked like an acting course for me.”Story continues below this ad
