Aamir Khan is once again facing boycott calls ahead of the release of his film Sitaare Zameen Par. Netizens have expressed disappointment over his delayed response to Operation Sindoor. Adding fuel to the fire, an old video of Aamir meeting Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s wife has resurfaced online, reigniting backlash on social media.
Amid boycott calls, Suniel Shetty has reacted to the cancel culture and hatred towards Aamir Khan. In a recent interview with ABP, the Hera Pheri star said, “Humesha Bollywood ke peeche pade rehte hai. (They are always behind Bollywood.)” He added, “Bollywood doesn’t come forward in this. Desh ke bare mein hoga toh politicians baat karenge, desh ke hit mein hoga toh hum definitely support karenge, that’s why we even make such films.”
