The much-awaited trailer for James Gunn’s Superman is finally out. The trailer gave a glimpse of the newest Superman, who takes his first flight as the superhero. The promo introduces us to a vulnerable, weak Superman until Krypto, the superdog comes to his rescue.
The trailer introduces David Corenswet as Superman’s alter-ego Clark Kent, who is a reporter for the newspaper The Daily Planet. The video also gives a glimpse of Superman’s lover Lois Lane, played Rachel Brosnahan, and his arch nemesis, Lex Luthor played Nicholas Hoult. The trailer also features Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Pruitt Taylor Vince as Jonathan Kent, and several other DC superheroes like Edi Gathegi as Mer Terrific, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Isabela Merced as the winged Hawkgirl and Anthony Corrigan Metamorpho, among others.

The new Superman film features David Corenswet as the fourth actor to play the role on the big screen, post Chropher Reeve, Brandon Routh, and Henry Cavill.

The James Gunn directorial is scheduled for a worldwide release on July 11.
