Sussanne Khan, Tiger Shroff and more celebs pray for Rakesh Roshan’s speedy recovery post cancer diagnosis
Tuesday started on a rather sad note. Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan took to social media and revealed that his father and actor-director Rakesh Roshan has been diagnosed with early stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat. Ever since Hrithik shared the tragic news, many Bollywood celebrities have been commenting on his post, praying for Rakesh’s speedy recovery.
In his post, Hrithik shared a photo of his dad from their workout session along with the caption, “Asked my dad for a picture this morning. Knew he wouldn’t miss gym on surgery day. He is probably the strongest man I know.”
“Got diagnosed with early stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it. As a family, we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him,” his caption read further.
Commenting on the same, actor Tiger Shroff wrote, “Superhero DNA, overnight recovery.” Meanwhile, Hrithik’s former wife Sussanne Khan commented, “He is stronger than any superhero all will go smoothly.

Throughout his career, Rakesh Roshan has given many hits like Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, Koi… Mil Gaya and Krrish, among others. He has also been preparing for the next instalment of the hit Krrish franchise which features Hrithik in the lead role.
