Actor Tabu recently opened up about her ‘new’ and ‘wild’ experience of shooting the film Crew with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon. She credited producer Rhea Kapoor for the movie’s success and attractive presentation of the cast on the big screen.
In a recent BBC Asian Network podcast, Tabu shared that Crew was an entirely new experience for her. “Crew was very new for me. The format, casting, story, everything was new. Just the zone of the film was different and fresh, and that’s why it was interesting for people to watch,” she said.

Tabu further revealed that Crew producer Rhea Kapoor was quite particular about the representation of her actors. She shared, “I must give the entire credit of that whole presentation of the actors to Rhea, because that’s how she sees her actors and characters. For her, beauty and glamour is very important. How a film is packaged and an actor is presented is important.”
The actor added, “Even though I could be debating or being lazy about it, but there is no way that you can escape that when you work with Rhea Kapoor. You have to at one point submit to that process. I submitted to it and enjoyed it, that’s also because I trusted her with that.”
Describing Crew as a ‘crazy’ experience with her co-stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon, Tabu elaborated, “Shooting Crew was a crazy experience, but it was a fun crazy experience and I am glad it all worked out well. I am also very happy that the timing worked out well because in films like these, the integral part is the chemry and the timing of all the actors in it. For us, Kareena, me and Kriti had good timing and rhythm. And, we got the jokes, so that worked really well.”
