‘The good became even better’: Zaheer Khan on Suryakumar Yadav’s sensational batting vs RCB

Former Indian cricketer Zaheen Khan showed up his feelings and belief on back in-form Mumbai Indians batsman Suryakumar Yadav, calling his batting, ‘good became even better’.
MI’s Suryakumar Yadav in a match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore used his bat as a sword against their bowlers and smashed 83 runs in just 35 balls. The knock included six sixes and seven fours which took the RCB away from the win.
During a JioCinema show, Zaheer couldn’t believe the ease with which Yadav dominated proceedings, saying: “They need to hold his bat from behind or hold his legs, he’s been batting like that. There was a tough phase but when he found his rhythm, the good became even better. This will never be good news for the bowlers.”
“The way he bats and the way he approaches it, no field placement can help them. Every time I see them play, it seems like the bowlers are trying to bowl outside the off-stump, pack the side with four players, and SKY is still hitting fours and you cannot stop this,” added the former India paceman.
This was the third time in IPL hory that MI chased down a target of 190 runs or more in under 17 overs, the only team to have ever done so.
Mumbai Indians also got an early breakthrough as Virat Kohli and Anuj Rawat were taken off Jason Behrendorff. But pulling their team ahead and taking responsibility to get RCB to a respectable score, two star players Faf Du Plesis and Glenn Maxwell took Mumbai bowlers under their bats flow.
Maxwell hits 68 runs in just 33 balls and Du Plesis scored 65 runs in 41 runs. Giving MI a target of 200 in 20 overs.

MI also needed an action pact knock from a player who can beat the RCB’s bowling attack. Suryakumar Yadav took that responsibility and played a sensational knock.
