Samantha Ruth Prabhu and director Raj Nidimoru tied the knot early Monday morning, exchanging vows at Sadhguru’s Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore. Taking to Instagram, the actor shared snapshots from her special day, looking stunning in a custom Arpita Mehta sari. She chose a red hand‑woven Banarasi creation crafted in pure Katan satin silk, featuring delicate powder‑zari buttis, and a Nishi‑woven border enhanced subtle beige‑gold zardozi embroidery.
Styled Pallavi Shah and Selvi Thangaraj, she paired a heavy neckpiece with matching gold earrings and a stack of bangles. A pulled-back bun adorned with flowers and dewy makeup kept the look chic and understated, while the floral garland around her neck complemented the wreath wrapped around her bun. Decoding the ring
Samantha’s bridal look was indeed ethereal, but what really got us hooked was the giant diamond solitaire nestled on her ring finger. The piece, made Greek jewellery designer Theodoros Savopoulos, features a lozenge portrait-cut solitaire with 8 other diamonds surrounding it, as mentioned digital creator Diet Saa.
Priyanshu Goel, celebrity jewellery expert, took to social media to break down Samantha’s iconic ring, which he calls a beautiful choice Raj and a perfect match for Samantha’s timeless and fearless energy.
“The centre is a lozenge portrait cut diamond of around 2 carats, and around it sit 8 custom portrait cut diamonds shaped like petals. It looks effortless on her hand, but the engineering behind it is extremely complex. Only a few workshops in the world cut and assemble portrait diamonds at this level,” he shared, adding that the ring can easily be valued at around ₹1.5 crore.

In this case, he said that the portrait-cut centre diamond and its eight companion stones create a flat, glass-like silhouette that demands exceptional clarity and precision. “The minimal metal, clean edges, and geometric floral layout give the ring a dinctly modern, sculptural identity, marking a symbol of understated luxury with a horical lineage,” said Kota.
