The Zoya Factor motion poster: Sonam Kapoor turns India’s lucky charm in this Dulquer Salmaan starrer

After a couple of glimpses from her upcoming movie The Zoya Factor, Sonam Kapoor recently shared the new motion poster from the film. The movie is an adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s 2008 novel of the same name and follows the story of a girl, Zoya Solanki, who becomes a lucky charm for the Indian Cricket team during the 2011 Cricket World Cup. The film also stars Dulquer Salmaan in with Sanjay Kapoor.

Sharing the motion poster on Twitter, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan… Motion poster of #TheZoyaFactor… Directed by Abhishek Sharma… Produced by Fox Star Studios, Pooja Shetty and Aarrti Shetty… 20 Sept 2019 release.”

In the poster, Sonam Kapoor can be seen posing like a goddess standing on a platform wearing sports shoes and holding a cricket helmet in one hand and a bat in the other. The actress is wearing a blue saree with golden border and multiple layered necklaces with a huge garland hung around her neck. Her jewellery-heavy look is being complimented by her charming smile with multi-coloured graphics in the background. The words, ‘India ka lucky charm’, can be seen flashing on the poster.

Meanwhile, sharing the poster on her Insta handle, Sonam wrote, “Who needs Nimbu Mirchi, when you have Zoya Solanki! India’s lucky charm is here to turn tables around for you.”

Sonam had earlier spiked excitement when she shared that a special revelation was coming our way earlier today. She wrote, “The time is set for the big reveal of India’s lucky charm! I’m feeling lucky, are you?”

The actress had earlier shared a poster of the film also revealing the release date. Sonam and Dulquer were seen donning denim jackets facing their back, ‘Numbi and mirchi’ were also used on the poster poking fun at India’s superstitions.

The Zoya Factor is about a Rajput girl named Zoya Singh Solanki who meets the Indian Cricket Team through her job as an executive in an advertising agency and ends up becoming a lucky charm for the team in the 2010 Cricket World Cup. Eventually, Zoya falls for skipper Nikhil Khoda (played by Salmaan) who doesn’t believe in luck and superstitions.

Helmed by Abhishek Sharma, the film is being produced by Fox Star Hindi, and is slated to hit theatres on September 20 this year.
