Trump targets ‘third world’ countries, vows permanent pause on migration | World News

US President Donald Trump reiterated his adminration’s hard-line immigration agenda, suggesting that he aims to strip citizenship from immigrants who entered the country and were allegedly naturalised through policies under Joe Biden.
“We have criminals that came into our country and they were naturalised, maybe through Biden, or somebody that didn’t know what they were doing. If I have the power to do it, I am not sure I do, but if I do I would denaturalize absolutely,” Trump said.
He further lashed out at his predecessor, Biden, calling him “the worst President” in the hory of the United States.
“We have a lot of people in our country that shouldn’t be here. And they came in through Biden. And, he was the worst President in the hory of our country. But, the single biggest thing that he did was allow millions, the worst, allow millions of people into our country that shouldn’t be here. Drug dealers, prisons were opened up and allowed to come into our country. You take a look at the people who were allowed to come into our country, we are paying a big price for it and we will for years to come, including the recent killer of two wonderful National Guards people. And I will tell you what, that animal shouldn’t have been allowed to come into our country,” the US president said.

Trump’s remarks come following the deadly National Guard shooting near the White House, where the suspect killed Special Sarah Beckstrom and critically wounded Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe.
The alleged shooter is Rahmanullah Lakanwal, a 29-year-old Afghan national, who entered the United States in 2021 as part of Operation Allies Welcome, the federal relocation programme launched after the US withdrawal from Afghanan.

Trump, condemning the shooting of two National Guard troops, called it an ‘act of terror’. He further directed to mobilise an additional 500 troops for DC and said that Washington “must re-examine every single alien who entered the US from Afghanan under Biden.”
“The animal who perpetrated this atrocity pays the steepest possible price. I can report tonight based on the best available information, the Department of Homeland Security is confident that the suspect in custody is a foreigner who entered our country from Afghanan- a hellhole on earth,” he said.
“We are not going to put up on these kinds of assaults on law and order people who shouldn’t even be in our country. We must now re-examine every single alien who has entered our country from Afghanan under Biden, and we must take all necessary measures to ensure the removal of any alien from any country who does not belong here or add benefit to our country. If they can’t love our country, we don’t want them,” the US president added.
