This champion is going to rise again: Yuvraj Singh posts photo with Rishabh Pant

Former India cricketer Yuvraj Singh met up with Rishabh Pant on Thursday as the latter steadily takes strides towards his recovery from the horrific car accident that took place in December 2022.
Singh shared a photo with the Indian wicketkeeper-batter on Instagram, captioning the post, “On to ba steps !!! This champion is going to rise again. Was good catching up and having a laugh. What a guy positive and funny always !! More power to you @rishabpant.”
In a recent Instagram post, Pant shared a video of himself walking in water as part of his rehab process. “Grateful for small thing, big things And everything in between,” he had written. “Taking a step at a time,” he also wrote in another story.

Earlier, Pant had talked about how after the life threatening ordeal, he feels blessed to be able to be here and how he derived happiness from normal day to day activities like brushing his teeth and sitting under the sun.
“Especially after my accident, I’ve found happiness in even being able to brush my teeth every day as well as something like sitting under the sun. While trying to achieve our goals, it seems like we’ve taken the regular things in life for granted. My biggest realisation and message would be that feeling blessed every day is also a blessing, and that’s the mindset I’ve adopted since my setback and being able to enjoy every moment which comes my way is a takeaway I have for myself,” he had said to IANS last month.
He also stated that he is taking three physiotherapy sessions in a day and hopes to return to playing cricket at the earliest.
