Sunita Ahuja shuts down divorce rumours with Govinda; tells fans, ‘People are dogs, they will bark’ | Bollywood News

Bollywood actor Govinda and Sunita Ahuja had a rough patch in their relationship, with the Hero No. 1 actor’s lawyer, Lalit Bindal, even announcing that Sunita had filed for divorce. The couple, however, reconciled their differences and are now very much together. Recently, Sunita addressed the speculations around her marriage and opened up about the trolling she faced during the tough time.
Speaking to ABP, Sunita admitted that although she found people talking negatively about her, she chooses to look at it positively. She said, “Positive hai ya negative hai. Positive hai mujhe pata hai. Mai sochti hu kuttey hai log bhaukenge” (Whether it is positive or negative, I take it positively. I think they are dogs, so they will bark).
Sunita also advised her and Govinda’s fans not to believe any rumours until they address it themselves. She added, “Till the time you don’t hear it from mine or Govinda’s mouth, don’t believe anything.”

Earlier, in an interaction with India Today, Govinda’s lawyer had confirmed that Sunita had indeed filed for divorce six months ago. The couple, however, reconciled their differences and travelled to Nepal’s Pashupati Nath Mandir to ring in the New Year. He said, “They travelled to Nepal during the New Year and performed puja together at Pashupati Nath Mandir. Everything is fine between them now. Such things keep happening between couples, but they are going strong and will always be together.”
Earlier, in an interaction with Hindi Rush, Sunita had hinted at Govinda living separately from his family. She implied that while she and their two kids live in the flat, Govinda stays in the bungalow. “Alag alag rehte hain” (We live separately). “We have two houses. I have my temple and my kids in the flat. We live in the flat, whereas he gets late after his meetings,” she had said. However, later, in another interview, Sunita clarified that Govinda only stays in the bungalow to attend meetings.
