‘This is Rinku’s world and we are all…’: Nitish Rana’s reply to Shah Rukh Khan’s tweet goes viral
Rinku Singh hit five sixes off the last five deliveries as Kolkata Knight Riders chased down a mammoth target of 205 to beat the Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League on Sunday.
The 25-year-old’s scintillating feat was hailed Bollywood star and KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan, who wrote on Twitter: “JHOOME JO RINKUUUUU !!! My ba @rinkusingh235 And @NitishRana_27 & @venkateshiyer you beauties!!! And remember Believe that’s all. Congratulations @KKRiders and @VenkyMysore take care of your heart sir!”
Shah Rukh also posted an edited image of Rinku Singh in a “Pathaan” avtar.
After the tweet went viral KKR captain Nitish Rana wrote, “Thank you sir for your kind words. But in all honesty, this is Rinku’s world and we are all living in it.”

Rinku set a record for most runs any batter in the 20th over of an IPL run-chase.
After the game, Rinku Singh spoke to the media and said,“I was just trying to hit sixes. I was not thinking a lot, was just reacting to the ball.”
“It kept coming out of the middle, I had belief and it came off in the end.”
