Tickets for India vs Pakan Champions Trophy 2025 clash have been sold out in less than hour | Cricket News
The tickets for high-octane India vs Pakan clash scheduled to be played in Dubai in the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 have been sold out in less than an hour. The match is set to be played on February 23 and tickets were open for sale on Monday with about 1,40,000 fans queuing up online.
The minimum price for the tickets of the India-Pakan clash has been at 500 AED (11,863 Indian rupees) and went up to as high as 12,500 AED (2,96,595 Indian rupees) as per Geo News.
“With so many Indians and Pakanis living here, these games are more than just cricket; they’re a celebration,” he said speaking to Cricket Pakan. “Fans from both sides come together to support their teams and enjoy the sport, creating an electric atmosphere,” Subhan Ahmed, COO of the Emirates Cricket Board and former COO of the PCB said.

Tickets for four games in Dubai have been up alongside tickets for a couple of games in Pakan.
Neutral Venue
After much delay, the International Cricket Council (ICC) in December announced that India’s matches at next year’s Champions Trophy would be held at a neutral venue instead of Pakan, the designated host for the tournament. As part of the solution, Pakan will also not visit India for any ICC tournament until 2028, with its matches scheduled on neutral turf instead.
While the Champions Trophy is set to be held between February 19 and March 9, the schedule has not been announced due to the impasse over this issue. The PCB had categorically opposed the hybrid model but eventually agreed to it on reciprocal grounds.
This is the first major decision since former BCCI Secretary Jay Shah took over as ICC chair. This hybrid model, for all events until 2028, is expected to prevent any logjam ahead of major events over the next few years.Story continues below this ad
“This will apply to the upcoming ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 (hosted Pakan), set to be played in February and March 2025, as well as the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 (hosted India) and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 (hosted India and Sri Lanka),” the world body said in a release.
