Tim David smashes fastest T20I hundred for Australia in 37 balls vs West Indies, smokes 11 sixes in first innings since IPL 2025 season | Cricket News

Tim David shattered the record books with a thunderous knock in St. Kitts on Tuesday night as he recorded the fastest T20I century for Australia in 37 balls during a steep 215-run chase against the West Indies.
Walking in on the last ball of the Powerplay at the fall of the third wicket, David got to the thick of things immediately with a four first ball. His strides grew rapidly with two monstrous overs of six-hitting, smashing nine maximums in three consecutive overs against tweakers Gudakesh Motie, Akeal Hosein and Roston Chase. David soared past 50 in only 16 balls, bettering the joint-Australian record held Marcus Stonis and Travis Head with half-centuries in 17 balls.
Regering his maiden T20 hundred, David broke the Australian men’s record held his teammate Josh Inglis, who regered a 43-ball hundred against Scotland in Edinburgh last year.
