Triple-H didn’t know he was getting inducted into the hall of fame; Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker surprised him | Bollywood News

Paul Michael Levesque, better known his moniker Triple H, is the Chief Content Officer of WWE. He has also had an illustrious career as a performer in the ring with 14 world championships under his name. WWE superstars Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker recently surprised him during a town hall meeting with his employees with the news that he is going to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and ‘The Game’ was suprised with this development.
In an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Game mentioned that he had no idea that something like this was in the works. He said, “I run the creative for the WWE, and in the last few years I have been like, ‘I’m not putting myself into the Hall of Fame.’ You can’t do that, right? We had plans for other people this year, and I was at the town hall meeting with some 800 employees, WWE president Nick Khan, and all of a sudden, out walks Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker. I was very confused, and then they started to get into the Hall of Fame, and I was like, ‘Oh, man, they got me.’”
He admitted that to be inducted his best friend Michaels and a legend like Undertaker was very meaningful and reflected on running the company alongside Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. “I remember meeting Dwayne for the first time and thinking, ‘God, this guy, his charisma is off the charts; if he’s at all athletic, he’s going to be a big star,’ and not only does he become a huge star as The Rock in WWE, but he would go on to be the biggest box office attraction in Hollywood ever.”

When talking about the upcoming championship bout between John Cena and Cody Rhodes and how the former switched his role from a ‘face’ to a ‘heel’, Triple H mentioned the challenges around Cena’s farewell tour. “John Cena is the ultimate good guy; he has done more Make-A-Wish wishes than any other celebrity in hory. The challenge is that he is on his retirement run, and he will end his in-ring career with the WWE in December. He came back and turned into a bad guy and beat the crap out of Cody Rhodes, and it’s amazing to see that transformation of John from the most beloved character to Darth Vader, and he is working very hard to make the audience hate him.”
Cena and Triple H have had a long relationship at the company and have gone head to head multiple times, with both securing victories on separate occasions. Meanwhile, WrestleMania 41 is going to be held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20 and will be streaming live on Netflix.
