Trump had denied sending “birthday note” to Epstein after the Wall Street Journal published notes from it in July.
US President Donald Trump on Wednesday signed the bill compelling the Justice Department to release all the files related to deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The bill, formally titled the Epstein Files Transparency Act, was earlier cleared the US House of Representatives a 427-1 vote and the Senate agreed to clear the bill unanimously.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Jeffrey Epstein, who was charged the Trump Justice Department in 2019 (Not the Democrats!), was a lifelong Democrat, donated Thousands of Dollars to Democrat Politicians, and was deeply associated with many well-known Democrat figures, such as Bill Clinton (who traveled on his plane 26 times), Larry Summers (who just resigned from many Boards, including Harvard), Sleazebag Political Activ Reid Hoffman, Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (who asked Epstein to donate to his Campaign AFTER Epstein was charged), Democrat Congresswoman Stacey Plaskett.”
