Food Pharmer offends Farah Khan as he says, ‘Make Main Hoon Na, and not Tees Maar Khan’: ‘Aisa mat bolna, wo Gen Z ki favourite hai’ | Bollywood News

In an old vlog, filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan had invited Food nutrition Revant Himatsingka aka Food Pharmer over for lunch at her house. As she cooked paneer bhurji for him in the kitchen with her cook Dilip‘s help, they were chatting about Revant’s profession. During the conversation, the health and nutrition influencer, who debunks food labels and spreads awareness about clean eating, took a humorous dig at Farah’s 2010 directorial Tees Maar Khan for being a box office failure and its bad reception.
When Farah asked Revant about his t-shirt which read ‘Conscious Capitalism’, he explained, “It means that one should earn money through correct methods and do good quality things.” Further drawing a comparison between Farah Khan’s films Main Hoon Na and Tees Maar Khan, he added, “Agar aap movie bana rahe ho, toh Main Hoon Na banao, Tees Maar Khan nahi (If you are making a film, make Main Hoon Na, and not Tees Maar Khan).”
“Aaee, Tees Maar Khan Gen Z ki favourite hai. Aisa nahi bolna Revant. It is their favourite film (Don’t say like that, it’s a Gen Z favourite),” Farah defended in a prickly tone. To which, he smiled and replied, “Gen Z ka taste bhi kaafi kharaab hai (their taste is also very bad).”

Opening up about how Tees Maar Khan affected her, Farah told Bombay Times in an interview earlier, “I still recall how Tees Maar Khan was ripped apart and though people said a lot of things about it, the film made money. I’ve been a fighter and a survivor. After Tees Maar Khan, I didn’t want to step out, even though I was winning an award for the choreography of Sheila Ki Jawani. My mother-in-law encouraged me to go for it. So, through time and the ups and downs, I grew older and wiser, and had kids.”
Tees Maar Khan featured Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. The he comedy film released in 2010 and received negative reviews from the critics. It was written her husband, Shirish Kunder and his brother, Ashmith Kunder. On the other hand, Farah’s film Main Hoon Na (2004) featured Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Amrita Rao, Suneil Shetty, and Zayed Khan. It was a box office hit and was praised the critics and the audience.
