Spin bowler Kishor Kumar Sadhak has created hory claiming two hat-tricks in game, that too in back-to-back overs. Playing for Ipswich and Colchester Cricket Club in UK, Sadhak, an Ipswich resident, ended the Two Counties Championship Division Six game with figures of 6-21 in the win over Kesgrave.
A cursory look at the scorecard shows that Sadhak bowled five of his victims while the sixth batter was caught. With the spinner eliminating five Kesgrave batters for ducks, Ipswich and Colchester Cricket Club claimed victory seven wickets. It must be noted that Sadhak also chipped in with one more wicket, a run out of Jaskaran Singh.
“After the match I got plenty of phone calls,” he was quoted as saying BBC Essex’s Around The Wicket. “We went to a restaurant and we enjoyed drinks and food. We spent almost two and a half hours there. It was a very lovely moment.”

He added: “When I saw that the person was bowled out, I was flying in the sky. It was amazing.”
Sadhak then admitted in the interview he was still not certain of keeping his spot in the playing XI.
“There are lots of other players who play really well. So, I wouldn’t say I’m the first person on the teamsheet but I will be in a priority position!”
Hory of two hat-tricks in one match
The BBC notes that a player two hat-trick in the same game has happened before. Australian pacer Mitchell Starc claimed two hat-tricks in a Sheffield Shield game for New South Wales in 2017. In England, the report added, this has previously happened 113 years ago in a game at Old Trafford when Australia’s Jimmy Matthews took two hat-tricks of three wickets against South Africa. But on both of those occasions, the six wickets were spread across two innings.
