WATCH: Jurgen Klopp pulls hamstring while celebrating late Liverpool winner in front of fourth official

Late winners often lead to the best and most emotional of celebrations. At times though, even the funniest. A classic instance happened at the Anfield on Sunday as Liverpool’s Diogo Jota scored against Tottenham Hotspur deep into stoppage time to round up a 4-3 win and lead Anfield to erupt.
The goal led to Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp running from the team dugout towards the fourth official and aggressively celebrate before pulling a hamstring and holding as he limped on his way back. Here’s a video of the same.

“I’m not sure if it’s the hamstring it could be the adductor but I got punished. Little sins immediately,” Klopp said afterwards. “The hamstring or whatever the muscle gave up in that moment. That’s fair. Apart from that, all okay.”
While it is unclear as to why Klopp ran towards the fourth official, the goal did leave the Spurs players livid as Jota had been involved earlier in a possible red card challenge when his high foot hit Oliver Skipp in the head.
Earlier in the game, Liverpool went 3-0 up inside 15 minutes, courtesy of goals from Curtis Jones, Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah.

Spurs however mounted a comeback via a first half goal from Harry Kane, a second in 77th minute from Son Heung-min and a stoppage time equalizer from Richarlison.
The win gives Liverpool much needed three points to pip Spurs to sixth spot in the Premier League points table.
