Kajol clears the air on Ajay Devgn’s equation with Shah Rukh Khan: ‘They weren’t like oh buddy….’ | Bollywood News

There has long been speculation that Ajay Devgn harboured feelings of jealousy towards Shah Rukh Khan, owing to his celebrated on-screen chemry with Kajol. However, neither Ajay nor Shah Rukh ever addressed the speculation. In a recent interview, Kajol, who is popular for her romantic films with SRK, revealed that there’s only respect between Shah Rukh Khan and her husband Ajay Devgn.
During a conversation with Times Now, the Maa actor opened up about not being part of any ‘camps’ in Bollywood. “I don’t know whether there are camps anymore. There weren’t camps, just friends or certain people who have worked with certain people. More than camps, it was a comfort level of whom you’ve worked and not worked with. I didn’t have a camp, I worked with everybody. The camp system eluded me,” she said.
When asked if Ajay Devgn was ever insecure of her friendship with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol shared, “Nothing at all, they were pretty much rumours. Genuinely, nothing really happened. They weren’t like ‘Oh buddy, let’s share a beer,’ but today they truly respect each other.”

Kajol also shared that she and Ajay Devgn respect each other’s likes and dislikes, and understand that they don’t have to share the same circle of friends. “There’s no awkwardness, that’s a boundary really. As people, we are individuals. I will like some things, he will not like some things and vice versa. We both decided that that’s fine. As long as I don’t have to sit down and whatever, I am fine, you go ahead, have friends and do whatever you want,” she said.

On the work front, Kajol will be seen next in Sarzameen, also starring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Ibrahim Ali Khan in the lead roles. The thriller will premiere on JioHotstar on July 25.
