UP Board Class 12 Boards 2018; Check the date sheet here, exam to begin from February 6

Finally after a long wait, the datesheet for UP class 12 boards has been released today, on October 28, by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP).

Finally after a long wait, the datesheet for UP class 12 boards has been released today, on October 28, by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP). All those candidates who will be appearing for the exams are required to check out the respective dates at the official website www.upmsp.edu.in

The exams will begin from February 6 and will continue till March 10. The datesheet for class 10 boards have also been released on the official website. Class 10 exams will also begin from the same date and will end on February 6.

NCERT pattern in examinations:

The government has plans to introduce the NCERT pattern in examinations conducted by the UP Board to bring government school students on par with those in the CBSE-affiliated institutions.

“Earlier, UP Board students used to get nothing more than 60 per cent. After the new study pattern, that will be introduced from next academic session, these students will also be able to secure 90 per cent marks like their counterparts in other states,” Sharma told TOI. Number of candidates who appeared for exam in 2017:

This year, nearly 34,04,571 students appeared for UP class 10 exams while over 26,24,681 appeared for the UP Board class 12 board exam.

About UP board:

The Board was set up in the year 1921 at Allahabad by an act of United Provinces Legislative Council. It conducted its first examination in 1923. The Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh is the Uttar Pradesh state government administered autonomous examining authority for the class 10 examination (or secondary school level examination) and class 12 examination (or inter college level examination) of Uttar Pradesh, India.
