Vicky Kaushal promises to reveal son’s name, says welcoming child with Katrina Kaif his ‘most grounding moment’ | Bollywood News
Actor couple Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif became parents to a ba boy on November 7, this year. During an interview with GQ India, Vicky opened up about being a father for the first time. Calling it the ‘biggest moment of 2025’, he said that it has been the most ‘grounding moment’ of his life. The duo tied the knot with each other in December 2021.
Talking about embracing fatherhood this year, he said, “Becoming a father this year is my biggest moment of 2025. It is a magical feeling. I always felt that when the time came, I would be very emotional and ecstatic, but it has actually been the most grounding moment that I have ever experienced in my life.”

At an awards event recently, Vicky was seen posing for the paparazzi on the red carpet. They even congratulated the actor on becoming a father, and he thanked them with folded hands. In fact, a pap asked him about announcing the name of his ba boy, and Vicky replied, “Bataata hoon (I’ll tell you),” hinting that he might announce his child’s name soon.
While announcing the arrival of their ba boy, Vicky and Katrina shared a joint post on Instagram with a graphic picture. They wrote, “Our bundle of joy has arrived. With immense love and gratitude, we welcome our ba boy. 7th November, 2025. Katrina & Vicky.” The duo is yet to reveal the first photo of their son and his name.
On the work front, Vicky Kaushal was last seen in Chhaava, one of the highest grossing films of 2025. The actor will next feature in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War. The movie also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. It is set to hit the theatres in 2026. On the other hand, Katrina Kaif will next be seen in Jee Le Zaraa, alongside Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt.
