The podcaster was seen stunned in silence after the news broke. He was visibly draught after his producer told him that the 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder had been shot dead. Joe Rogan talked about Charlie Kirk’s death in the latest episode of his podcast.(YouTube) Charlie Kirk, a conservative American activ and an ally of President Donald Trump, was killed a rooftop sniper on Wednesday while speaking at Utah Valley University in Orem. According to a Reuters report, he was killed a single gunshot while delivering a speech. Rogan, who could never interview the late activ, recalled meeting him once at a gun range. “He’s not a violent guy, he’s talking to people on college campuses. He wasn’t even particularly rude, tried to be pretty reasonable with people. He’s a very intelligent guy, whether you agree with him or don’t, and there’s a lot of stuff that I didn’t agree with him on,” Rogan said. The gunshot that resulted in Kirk’s death seemingly came from a dant rooftop at the university campus. The FBI said that the assassin had jumped off the roof of the building and fled into a neighborhood after firing the shot, Associated Press reported. Meanwhile, Donald Trump mourned Kirk’s assassination, calling it “a dark moment for America.” The late activ had previously served as a personal aide to the president’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., during the general election campaign.
