Matt Renshaw completed his fifty against Pakan with a seven in the tour game at Canberra.
On Day 3, in the 78th over of Prime Miner XI’s innings, Renshaw hits a cover drive and Mir Hamza stopped it after a long chase.
Hamza saved one run for the team and then threw the ball to the non-striker’s end where Babar Azam in collected the ball and threw it towards wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed, who failed to collect it and it went for four overthrows.

Renshaw was batting on 99 off 251 balls at the Tea on Day 3. The Southpaw has hit six boundaries and one six in his knock.
The 27-year-old is playing for the Prime Miner’s XI in a four-day game that has been tagged a virtual selection trial to replace David Warner when he retires after the third Test against the same opposition.
After being in and out of Australia’s side in a 14-Test career across seven years, this knock might give Renshaw an edge over his fellow opening contenders Marcus Harris and Cameron Bancroft, who had failed to convert their starts.
Pakan had earlier declared their innings on 391 for 9 with their skipper Shan Masood remained unbeaten on 201. Babar Azam and Sarfaraz Ahmed made valuable contributions with their 40 and 41, respectively.
For the Prime Miner XI, seamer Jordan Buckingham (5/80) bagged a five-wicket hall.
In reply, the Prime Miner’s XI openers Cameron Bancroft (53) and Marcus Harris (49) gave their team a dedate start with a 96-run opening stand. No 3, Renshaw kept the one end intact with all-rounder Cameron Green, too chipping with a quality 46. Renshaw and Green put on 86 runs for the third wicket.
Renshaw has now forged an unbeaten 102-run partnership for the fourth wicket with skipper Nathan McSweeney.
