Novak Djokovic lost his cool on a fan when he shouted “out” midpoint during his US Open quarterfinal match against Taylor Fritz.
The fan was later thrown out as the dracted the 23-time Grand Slam champion enough to cost him that point and then having screams directed back at him when Djokovic lost the next point, too.
“He was actually in the box where some of my friends were. I don’t know who the guy was; but yeah, I was pretty annoyed him at that point. I was communicating with my friends to have a little chat with him,’ Djokovic said after the match.
A fan just yelled “Out!” while Novak Djokovic & Taylor Fritz were playing a point.
Fans that do this should be kicked out immediately & don’t deserve a 2nd chance.

“At the end of the day, they pay to come and watch you play, so we try to put on a show. … Sometimes they might have an interaction with the player, like this guy. I’m sorry for him, but he was really annoying at that point.”
Djokovic who sailed past Fritz 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 in the quarterfinals will take on unseeded Ben Sheltonn in the semifinals.
If he manages to beat Shilton in the semifinals, it will be his 10th US Open final appearance.
