Watch: Pakan vs New Zealand 2nd ODI halted due to bizarre error

The second ODI between Pakan and New Zealand was halted for a bit due to mismeasurement of the 30-yard circle. Umpire Aleem Dar was the one to point it out and directed the ground staff to fix the measurement.
However, the first over had already been bowled then. So, before the second one, Dar fixed the measurement of the circle measuring it with steps which led to 6 minutes of the match being lost, according to Geo News.
In the match, Pakan won the toss and opted to bowl against the Kiwis in the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

They really changed the 30-yard circle during the match, that was hilarious! 😂 #PAKvNZ pic.twitter.com/7bKhKHgLdt

Pakan leads the five-match series 1-0 after Fakhar Zaman’s ninth ODI hundred anchored the home team to a five-wicket win on Thursday.
Pakan, with an eye on this year’s World Cup in India, decided to test its bench strength and awarded an ODI debut to fast bowler Ihsanullah, who replaced Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Shan Masood and Shadab Khan were also rested as the home team brought in middle-order batter Abdullah Shafique and leg-spinner Usama Mir.
New Zealand also made a couple of changes with all-rounder James Neesham and Henry Shipley replacing Adam Milne and Blair Tickner from the side which lost the first game.
Karachi will host the remaining three games next week.
