Hard-hitting batter Yusuf Pathan displayed his ball-striking prowess once again in the ongoing Zimbabwe Afro T10 league when he smacked 80 runs in just 26 balls.
In his knock, Pathan pummeled former Pakan bowler Mohammad Amir for 25 runs showing he still has the power and skill to take down any bowler.
The incident occurred in the eighth over of the innings in the game between Durban Qalandars and Joburg Buffaloes in the qualifier-1 match when the latter were chasing a mammoth 141 runs from just 10 overs.

Pathan first smashed two sixes off the first two balls of the over putting the pressure on the bowler before Amir came back with a dot ball. However, Pathan smashed the left-arm-seamer for another maximum off the next ball and then followed it up with a couple and another boundary.
Amir also bowled a wide in the over which led to the run tally in the over to stand at 25. He gave away 42 runs from two overs which swung the momentum in favour of Joburg.
Pathan’s blering knock helped Joburg win six wickets with one ball to spare. The former India international has scored 187 runs in the competition at an average of 46.75 and a strike rate of 207.78. Both the teams will meet in the final on Sunday again in Harare.
