We are not happy with the situation: Hansi Flick on Barcelona’s recent domestic form | Football News

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick on Friday said that the team will battle until the end to win titles, adding he was not very happy with the current situation the team is facing. Barcelona are scheduled to face Atletico Madrid on December 21 with the Catalans looking to avoid a third straight loss at home.
After a great start to the season winning 12 of their first 16 matches across the tournament, Barcelona have stumbled recently with just 1 win in their last 6 league games with the recent defeat coming against 15th placed Leganes.
They remain on top of the table with a total of 38 points, where they are level with Atletico Madrid who are second while arch rivals Real Madrid are just 1 point behind, with both Madrid teams having one game in hand.
“What I can feel in the city and the supporters know what the team is like. We lost five important players. (Attacking midfielder) Dani Olmo and (forward) Pau Victor are the (new) signings. The team has improved and is focused,” Flick said.
“We are not happy with the situation, but we are going to fight until the end of the season. We want to win titles, but we know it won’t be easy. But we want to win, that’s what we want to do tomorrow,” he added.
Flick also stressed there won’t be much room for error if they plan to win against Atletico but added they are ready for the competition.
“It’s the end of the year. It’s a great game. It’s one of the best rivals. But today is Dec. 20 and we’re first in LaLiga and second in the Champions League. We are not bad. We lost some points against Las Palmas (2-1 loss) and Leganes, we have to recover them,” Flick said.

“Tomorrow is another game. We have a young team and we have to fight and improve. We want to achieve great things. But we know it won’t be easy. We have to start fighting tomorrow. We are playing against great teams,” he added.
