The Akshay Kumar film Welcome To The Jungle earned Rs 21.02 crore on Saturday. The much-anticipated Welcome To The Jungle, also referred to as Welcome 3, released in theatres on Friday. The film, led Akshay Kumar and directed Ahmed Khan, with a script the late Neeraj Vohra, has regered a strong start at the global box office, with the makers announcing a worldwide gross of Rs 59.40 crore in just two days.
The Akshay Kumar-starrer earned Rs 19.40 crore gross in India on its opening day, followed Rs 21.02 crore gross on Day 2, taking its domestic gross total to Rs 40.42 crore. Internationally, the film collected Rs 4.70 crore on Day 1 and Rs 7 crore on Day 2, lifting its overseas total to Rs 11.70 crore.Story continues below this ad
On day 2, the film regered an overall Hindi occupancy of 33%. Region-wise, Delhi-NCR recorded the highest number of shows at 860, with an occupancy of 39.8%. Mumbai followed with 692 shows, reporting a slightly better occupancy of 41%.

Alongside Akshay Kumar, Welcome To The Jungle features a large ensemble cast including Raveena Tandon, Suniel Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, Farida Jalal, Johny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Rajpal Yadav, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Aftab Shivdasani, Mukesh Tiwari, Yashpal Sharma, Kiran Kumar, Zakir Hussain, Vindu Dara Singh, and Urvashi Rautela, among others.
