This top-grossing movie is the untold story of the witches of Oz. It features Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, a young woman, misunderstood because of her unusual green skin, who has yet to discover her true power, and Ariana Grande as Glinda, a popular young woman, gilded privilege and ambition, who has yet to discover her true heart. The two meet as students at Shiz University in the fantastical Land of Oz and forge an unlikely but profound friendship. The movie, a two-part adaptation of the popular Broadway musical, is directed Jon M. Chu and written Winnie Holzman and Dana Fox. It is available for streaming from March 22.
Oppenheimer (Netflix)

A cinematic epic, Chropher Nolan-directed Oppenheimer, won seven Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Director (Nolan) and Best Actor (Cillian Murphy). Released in 2023, the movie follows the story of physic J. Robert Oppenheimer being appointed to work on the top-secret Manhattan Project. Oppenheimer and a team of scients spend years developing and designing the atomic bomb. Their work resulted in the world’s first nuclear explosion, on July 16, 1945, forever changing the course of hory. The cast features Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Florence Pugh, Josh Hartnett, Casey Affleck, Rami Malek, and Kenneth Branagh.
Anora (JioHotstar)
After sweeping the Academy awards winning in five categories and its director Sean Baker creating hory securing four of the trophies, Anora is now available for streaming in India. The much-acclaimed film revolves around Anora, a young woman from Brooklyn, who gets her chance at a Cinderella story when she meets and impulsively marries the son of an oligarch. Its impressive cast features Mikey Madison, Mark Eydelshteyn, Yura Borisov, Karren Karagulian and Vache Tovmasyan.

The war isn’t over, and neither is the fight for the truth. No Man’s Land Season 2 dives deeper into the chaos of the Syrian civil war and follows a female fighter group. As old loyalties are tested and new dangers emerge, the stakes have never been higher. Directed Rotem Shamir (who had earlier helmed ‘Fauda’ and ‘Hostages’), this intense drama brings back Mélanie Thierry, Souheila Yacoub, and James Krishna Floyd, alongside new faces ready to shake things up.
Sky Force (Prime Video)
Sky Force reminds the audience of the 1965 Indo-Pak War, when India faced a devastating surprise attack. Wing Commander Ahuja leads a retaliatory strike, but Squadron Leader Vijaya goes missing after a heroic solo engagement against a superior enemy jet. Ahuja spends 23 years seeking the truth, uncovering a cover-up, and ultimately securing posthumous recognition for Vijaya’s bravery and sacrifice. Directed Abhishek Anil Kapur and Sandeep Kewlani, the screenplay is written Sandeep Kewlani, Carl Austin and Aamil Keeyan Khan. The cast of Sky Force features Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya and Nimrat Kaur.

Neeraj Pandey returns with the second iteration of his hit show, Khakee: The Bengal Chapter. Streaming simultaneously in Hindi and Bengali, it features who’s who of the Bangla film industary including Jeet, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Saswata Chaterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee and Chitrangada Singh in the lead.
