Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s directorial debut, The Ba**ds of Bollywood, has been making headlines ever since its release. The show features cameo appearances as many as 21 celebrities, including Ranbir Kapoor. However, it is this very cameo appearance of the Barfi actor that has now landed in controversy, after the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) asked the Mumbai Police to reger a case against Ranbir Kapoor, the show’s producers, and Netflix.
Ranbir Kapoor’s controversial cameo scene
In the show, Ranbir Kapoor is seen vaping in a scene, which has snowballed into a legal issue. The cameo shows Ranbir playing himself in a conversation with Karan Johar. Ranbir greets Karan with a cheeky “F**k all jacket, Karan,” to which Karan responds in an equally sassy tone, “Oh, f**k you too.” Later, Ranbir is seen asking Anya Singh’s character for a vape and is shown smoking it.
