The White House said Tuesday that the United States, Ukraine and Russia have moved closer to a possible peace agreement, but some issues still need further discussion.

White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said in a post on X that progress had been made, but some points were still unresolved.

“There are a few delicate, but not insurmountable, details that must be sorted out and will require further talks between Ukraine, Russia, and the United States,” she wrote on X.
