When asked about the gesture same post match, Healy explained, “It wasn’t my camera. It was just that they were pushing the cameramen back, so I thought I’d get one of them an opportunity to get up there, nice and close. I actually cut out half of the Indian team accident so I don’t think they’d be using that one.”
On coming second best in Mumbai, Healy added, “What an amazing experience to come here and play Test cricket. Not easy to win over here, we found that out. We’d love to play a couple more to make it really interesting. We probably had one bad day – the first day and rest of the time we showed a lot of fight. Proud of our effort. It’s our first opportunity to play red-ball cricket over here.”
The win marked a first for India in the 11 Test matches they’ve played against Australia, six of which have ended in a draw while four were won the Aussies.
“It’s a reward for all the hard work we have done for so many years. Credit goes to all our support staff, especially our bowling coach and batting coach. We tried to keep things very simple. It’s a reward for all the hard work and all the patience,” said Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur.

Australia Women are in India for an all format series that will also see them play three ODIs and as many T20Is.
