MI at home in IPL 2024
Mumbai’s had a terrible campaign in IPL 2024. The five-time title winners finished bottom of the points table with just eight points (four wins) in 14 league matches. MI won two matches at home and two away matches. Toss did not influence the result as much as MI would have wanted. They won five tosses out of seven matches at home and chose to field first on all five occasions. They won two of these matches where they won the toss at Wankhede.

RCB in away matches in IPL 2024
RCB had a much better season in comparison to Mumbai’s IPL 2024 campaign. They finished fourth in the points table but their season ended in Eliminator where they lost to Rajasthan Royals four wickets. RCB played eight away games last season and won 50 per cent, i.e. four tosses in those games. In the away matches where they won the toss, RCB won two matches, one each batting first and fielding first. The team which was led Faf du Plessis last season won a solitary away game where they lost the toss.
