WWE Raw: CM Punk passes out amid brawl with Seth Rollins, he reminds Paul Heyman of the ‘favour he owes’ | Hollywood News

WWE superstars CM Punk and Seth Rollins got involved in a rage-fuelled brawl after the latter threatened Paul Heyman during a segment on Raw. Seth gave Heyman a reality check about Roman Reigns and Punk and then offered to get Heyman out of the predicament he is in rendering him unavailable for WrestleMania. As things escalated, Punk ran out to save his friend, and a fight broke out.
The aforementioned predicament started last week on Smackdown when Punk revealed the favour Heyman owed him. Punk demanded that Heyman be in his corner for his match against Reigns and Rollins, referring to an old conversation the two had, in which Heyman said, “When you’re at Wrestlemania, force them to deal with us.” Heyman is currently managing Reigns, but when he asked him to refuse Punk’s proposal, Heyman said no. Before he could get to a proper decision, a fight broke out between Punk and Reigns.

A week later, Heyman walked out in front of the Minneapolis crowd and explained how he was loyal to both Reigns and Punk and would not betray either, but before he could elaborate on his decision, Seth Rollins interrupted him. Rollins walked out and proceeded to break down Heyman’s relationship with the two men: “‘When Reigns lost the WWE title at the last Wrestlemania and went on a break, did he take you with him?’ No, he left you here in the very caring and loving hands of his family member, Solo Sikoa, and the rest of the Bloodline. Did they treat you well, Paul? Were they kind to you? No! Every day they treated you like the scum of the earth, and every day we were wondering, is Roman Reigns going to come and save Paul Heyman? He left you to get massacred in your hometown in front of your children.”
He then insulted Punk and referred to how the superstar left 10 years ago and was trying to bring the WWE organisation down from the outside. Rollins said that Paul is in a very difficult situation, and rather than choosing between Punk and Reigns, he could put Paul out of his misery and started shoving and slapping him. Punk wasted no time and ran out to save his friend as he beat Rollins all over and around the ring. However, due to a lapse in judgement, Punk slid straight into Rollins’ finisher, the ‘curb stomp’, and passed out on the canvas. Rollins took the mic and told Heyman, “Now you owe me a favour.”
WrestleMania 41, which will be held on April 19 and 20, has many promising matchups. While Rollins, Punk and Reigns is an enthralling match-up in itself, the title match for the WWE championship will be fought between John Cena and Cody Rhodes, with the former fighting for a record 17th championship.
