‘Main Shahid Afridi nahi hoon’: Watch Suresh Raina takes a cheeky jibe on Shahid Afridi
Suresh Raina on Wednesday has turned the clock backwards with his strokeplay in the ongoing Legend League Cricket Masters being played in Doha, Qatar.
Playing for India, Maharajas Raina scored a brisk 49 against World Giants.
During the press conference, a reporter asked Raina: “Everyone wants you back in the IPL after your performance tonight.”
Pat came the reply of Raina with a cheeky jibe on Shahid Afridi, who had made a multiple comebacks after announcing his retirement from international cricket.

The southpaw said: “Main Suresh Raina hoon. Main Shahid Afridi nahi hoon. Retirement le chuka hoon (I’m Suresh Raina, not Shahid Afridi. I’ve retired from cricket),” he said.
Despite Raina’s all-round effort, India Maharajas lost the match three wickets. Brett Lee (3/18) was the pick of the bowler for the World Giants.
For World Giants, Chris Gayle scored 57 runs and Shane Watson was the other notable contributor with a quickfire 26.
For India Yusuf Pathan (2/14) bagged two wickets, while Harbhajan Singh, Ashok Dinda, Pravin Tambe and Suresh Raina chipped in with a wicket apiece.
