The Council of Ministers, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, approved “Madhya Pradesh Capacity Building Policy-2023” for the capacity building of state government servants. Incorporating the concept and characteristics and obtaining advice from the member of the Capacity Development Commission, a new budget head “Mission Karmayogi” will be created in the budget of each department, with one percent of the budget available in the salary head. . Along with this, a new budget head named “Mission Karmayogi” will also be created in the budget of Academy of Administration with an amount of Rs 10 crore.
The current training policy of the state was implemented on 11 July 2001 in reference to the National Training Policy of the Government of India in the year 1996. The current National Training Policy of the Government of India was implemented on 19 January 2012, but no change was made in the State Training Policy yet. The current training policy of the state has become almost 22 years old, while the need for a new training policy was felt due to the method of recruitment of government servants, use of information technology in government work, changes in various laws, etc. Retired and experienced administrative and technical consultancy experts were consulted by the Director General, Academy of Administration to prepare the new training policy of the state.
Women self-help groups will collect consumer fee (toll)
The cabinet approved the policy for collection of consumer charges by women self-help groups. The cabinet took this decision to make women self-help groups more efficient and to ensure participation in user fee (toll) collection. According to the decision, the consumer fee collection will be done by women self-help groups on routes with annual collection income of less than two crores out of the routes previously approved for consumer fee collection. Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation has been authorized to select such a route.
Increase in the honorarium of the President of District and Janpad Panchayat
The cabinet decided to increase the honorarium of the president and vice-president of district and district panchayats. Establishment of 8 new government colleges approved
