Chandrayaan-3 made a historic landing on the surface of the Moon last night, fulfilling the hopes of 1.4 billion people and bringing India into the elite space club .But as the country celebrates this milestone, the Vikram lander and Pragyan rover have plenty of work to do on the lunar surface. The rover rolled on the lunar surface.
Sharing an update this morning, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) tweeted: “Chandrayaan-3 ROVER:
Made in India For the MOON! The Ch-3 Rover stepped off the lander and India walked on the moon.”!
Lander and Rover are both healthy and Pragyan has left Lander Vikram. He added that pictures of the two are likely to be released soon.
