The fifth phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections is currently in progress, with voters from 49 constituencies across six states and two Union Territories heading to the polling stations today. Mumbai is also voting today, and visuals of eminent personalities, including industrials, actors and singers, exercising their right to vote have surfaced on social media. Notably, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, his wife and founder of Reliance Foundation Nita Ambani, and son Akash Ambani also joined the throngs of voters in participating in this democratic exercise. Watch the Ambani family arriving at a polling booth here: After casting her vote at the Malabar Hill polling booth, Nita Ambani said, “It is important as an Indian citizen to vote. It is our right and responsibility to vote. I urge everybody in India to go out and exercise their right to vote.” Earlier in the day, Anil Ambani cast his vote at a polling booth in Mumbai. He was seen standing in a queue, patiently waiting for his turn at the booth. A video of him standing in the queue was shared on X ANI. The video shows Anil Ambani, dressed in a blue shirt, standing outside a black-coloured gate, waiting for his turn to vote. As he is waiting, he can also be seen having conversations with other citizens. Mumbai North, Mumbai North West, Mumbai North East, Mumbai North Central, Mumbai South, and Mumbai South Central are the constituencies voting in the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha polls, which is the final phase of polling in Maharashtra. The other constituencies of Maharashtra that are part of the fifth phase include Dhule, Dindori, Nashik, Kalyan, Palghar, Bhiwandi and Thane.
