Congress MLA wants Vaastu check of MP assembly
BHOPAL: Nine MLAs dead in four years. It’s got to be Vaastu dosh, feels veteran Congress legislator KP Singh. On the opening day of the winter session, Singh urged Speaker Sitasharan Sharma to get the Vaastu of the state assembly building checked for faults.
It’s the first time that a Vaastu screening request has come from within the House. Paying homage to party colleagues and legislators Mahendra Singh Kalukhera and Ram Singh Yadav, who died within weeks of each other, Singh drew attention to the “abnormal number of deaths”. “In the 14th Vidhan Sabha, this House has lost nine legislators in the past four years,” Singh, a former minister in the Digvijaya Singh government, said. “There has been talk outside the House about a probable fault in this structure.
Such an idea may not agree with science but this issue has been coming up since the number of casualties of sitting members in each session has been high,” said the Picchore MLA.Mahendra Singh Kalukhera and Ram Singh Yadav died in a span of five weeks – Kalukhera on September 11 and Yadav on October 18.
