Kisan movement: government to search for warehouses to stop vegetables, expensive hoarding

Bhopal / New Delhi Farmers from six states of the country came to the streets on a 10-day movement on Friday. Farmers in Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh threw milk on the roads and burnt vegetables in support of 32 demands, including implementing the recommendations of the debt waiver and the Swaminathan Commission. Here, the Madhya Pradesh government has already started checking the prices of bulk and retail prices as the prices of vegetables rise in the day. It has been found that due to the shutdown, prices of vegetables increased by 20 to 50 per cent in many places in the state. Therefore, the government is preparing for the search of warehouses of wholesale businesses, including licenses of other vegetables, including garlic, onions, tomatoes, where the vegetables are not being stocked. If this is found then strict action can be taken.

Feedback of the movement taken by CM

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan called on officials of CM Secretariat and other related departments to take feedback on farmers’ movement on State Hagar only on Friday.

Here, the President of National Kisan Mazdoor Mahasangh, Shiv Kumar Sharma has said that India will be closed in the interest of farmers’ demands till June 10, till 2 pm. Last year, there was a lot of resentment among the farmers regarding the fall and purchase of Summer Moong and its effect was seen even during the farmers’ agitation.

– On the State Hangar, the Chief Minister told all the officials that this time it should not be. Therefore, the farmers of Summer Moong will be registered from June 6 to 20. This time the price of summer moong has fallen in mandis to one thousand rupees. Therefore, the government will procure Rs 5575 per quintal for the support price. On the instructions of CM, orders were issued on Friday itself. It has to be purchased in Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Hoshangabad, Harda, Sehore, Raisen, Vidisha, Guna, Dewas, Indore, Dhar and Balaghat.

Police told the milkers – call someone if they stop
– Between Ratlam and Rajasthan border, patrol vehicles of the police on the highway. While stopping the police force from seeing the milkman, he gave his mobile number to everyone and said- Calling directly if anybody stops selling the milk.
– On the Nayagaon-Mandsaur road, farmers gathered in the morning and shouted slogans in support of their demands. Snatched vegetables and thrown them on the streets Control room has been built at Bhopal based police headquarters which is keeping an eye on every situation.

Mandsaur and Neemuch did not show any effect of closure
There was no major impact on the bandh in three districts of Mandsaur, Ratlam and Neemuch, which were the main centers of the Kisan movement. In Mandsaur and Ratlam, there was an inevitable decrease in milk and vegetables, but in Neemuch demand exceeded 20 thousand liters of milk and 50 quintals of vegetables. Movement supporters in Mandsaur protested with the people sharing milk and wearing garland and appearing in the movement.

Rajasthan: Demolition in 80 Dairy Committees
– Around 15 thousand liters of milk coming from Jaipur through tankers were washed away on various roads. Due to the Kisan Movement, on Friday less than two lakh liters of milk has come down. During the Kisan Movement, 80 dairying committees in several districts, including Jaipur, Dausa, were destroyed. Here the farmers who were brought with milk were banished.
– Dairy consumes 11 lakh liters of milk every day, but on Thursday only 9 lakh liters of milk can be found. Dairy administration has filed lawsuits in 4 police stations for sabotage and shedding on the road.

Haryana: Government employees and small farmers in the nuisance
– There was no major impact on milk supply in vegetable markets and cities. In many cities including Yamuna Nagar and Fatehabad, efforts were made to force the farmers to join the strike. Milk and vegetables were snatched and thrown on the road.
– Farmer leader Gurnam Singh climbers accused BJP workers of failing the agitation.
– Fatehabad’s village Dhangad has identified the protesters who have scattered stuff by stopping vehicles filled with food items passing through the highway.
– Demonstrators are being identified in a video available with Dainik Bhaskar. Some of them are government employees
After identifying faces and queries in the video, the villagers have given some names. They have a raw employee working in an SDM office, they have around 6 acres of land. One has 2-3 acres of land. There is a peon in a co-operative society. He has 3 acres of land. One has the work of dairy besides some land.
